Vincent Dornan Upholstery is based in the Headford area since 2003 providing an expert upholstery service to the highest quality and customer satisfaction to customers in Galway city and county and south Mayo.
Vincent started his career as an apprentice at 16, where he gained practical hands-on specialist knowledge and expertise, whilst learning about the craftsmanship of upholstery. Following this, he spent time in England refining his skills, working with antiques and traditional upholstery methods. Vincent is an expert upholsterer with over 40 years’ experience, so what he doesn’t know, isn’t worth knowing!
Over the last few years we have assembled a professional team who will use their wealth of knowledge and skill to personally answer all of your queries and assist you with fabric choices and combinations and are available from quotation through to delivery. We see on a daily basis the quality in the frames of a 10 or 20 year old frame which were mainly manufactured using hardwood not like today’s imported furniture which use chipboard, pine, plywood, a lot of staples and glue. So that’s why it is worth investing in re-upholstering your quality furniture.
